This photo reminded me of a coral reef picture but full of moss and Lichen Life (this is on a stump the man in the cemetery said he cut down 40 years ago ). I also noticed some small black bumps in the picture, lower right. "Could They Be"? Reef photo is a stack of 25 Pictures and the second picture is a crop of the little black bumps (MYXOMYCETES?) :shock:

Could be myxos Doug but I don't know, need a closer look. What'a ya do'n hang'n round in a cem'tary? :shock: Really like that lichen photo though, really nice! :D

There is some cool stuff in the "cem'tary" I`ll try and get a closer shot of the black blobs but they have to be around .5mm. Glad you like the reef :wink:
