Maybe all you need for this is one of the 'thorn-avoidance trained' hoppers from my back garden ... or maybe a 'night elf' to keep watch? :)

Puzzledpaul, thanks for the link. That one's going to prey on my mind for a while.

Ken, your picture reminds me of those old B&W's that people used to do of barbed wire. I'm always impressed that such a "get away from me!" subject can be made into such an attractive picture.

Rik - you're welcome, I check part of that site on a regular basis because of other interests and noticed the image a couple of days or so ago ... and thought that it 'fitted in' with Ken's current phase (of the moon?)

For anyone with a general interest in imagery (as is obviously the case with yourself) - some of the work is well worth looking at, whether it's 2D (often P/shop and/or Painter) or renders of 3D models / scenes.

There's some very talented ppl amongst the 250k + members.

Thanks all :D , I have never considered barbed wire but I have seen those old images. Chains and such were numerous subjects too. :D
