It was quite a trip, don't even know how to begin telling the story as it would amount to a book's worth of info. The primary issue photography-wise was the near constant bad lighting. Many of my pics are darker than I would like or have more 'flash' than I would like. I wish I had more photographic experience before I left (only doing this for a year and a half) to deal with these situations.
I of course will be leaking Amazon pics out as I get them processed (my winter project), but here is a sneak peek at a couple views of one of the odders critters I found. I will have to look through my notes as to what this thing is called, buy my nickname for it is the 'fishing lure fly'. It was about 3 inches long and I guess they are quite rare in the area we stayed (near Iquitos, Peru).
I probably won't post any more from the Amazon until I get a bunch processed; in the meantime I will just have to show some of the last months photos here in Nebraska, such as this one:
