No vanity, just well deserved praise. Big, fancy cameras don't take exceptional photos, people do. Searching for the beauty, then composing and capturing it to share with others, that is the talent that must be highly commended.
And just a joke about growing up to be just like you. I am almost 40, but I mean to take beautiful photos just like you (and the others on this website) when I gain more experience.
But I have quite a passion for this so I will keep working at it.
Hope you all have a really nice day!

Some of the most beautiful things come in very small packages.
I've figured out it as a joke (followed by ) after second reading.Macro Beauty wrote:... And just a joke about growing up to be just like you. I am almost 40, but I mean to take beautiful photos just like you (and the others on this website) when I gain more experience...

That is so true, snd i cant count the amount f times i have told people that when the first question they ask is "What camera did you use for that?"Macro Beauty wrote: Big, fancy cameras don't take exceptional photos, people do :
If they ask me I tell me i used a cell phone and they go quiet then. Its just not a real camera to them!
Yet many still take photos with pinhole cameras and get accepted, what could be more basic?
(There are also pinhole digitals out there!)
Canon 5D and 30D | Canon IXUS 265HS | Cosina 100mm f3.5 macro | EF 75-300 f4.5-5.6 USM III | EF 50 f1.8 II | Slik 88 tripod | Apex Practicioner monocular microscope
Agree. That's so true that I'm doubting to buy a new equipment. But if someone, already, is making a money with photographs, it is wise to have the best or near the best equipment, if can. Strictly artistically speaking an equipment doesn't matter much. Could be an artist with a tools from the stone age.
