Sorry, only the skull of Myotis lucifugus, the Common little brown bat. Actually found this behind a desk we moved in the office. I do some preparation on these skulls. Usually they are eaten down by the natural creatures, than I soak them in bleach to get rid of any germs & flesh that is left. I did not leave this one in too long because I was afraid the bleach would dissolve the skull being it is so small.

Hi Steve, I looked around for a good picture of their face but did not find one. They do not have large eyes, they depend mostly on their sonar for night time. This link has some drawings of their skull which shows the bone structure and eye bones better. Take care

With winter approching here is the NE USA, My bugs are going to be rather cold, Plus I like to inject some unusal items into the macro forums to try and "Encourage" people to see other things in Macro...they do not have to be scientific, things you take for granted look cool in macro!!!
