Got Lichens?

My mature plum tree is covered in them! And looking closely I see lots of small new colonies forming, very cool!

and a close up of that green stuff that covers all trees. Is it an algae?

Looks like your pushing that cell phone to the max Cyclops. I like the first one the best.

I can get clearer pictures if my lupe was made of glass but its plastic, hence the distortion and chromatic abberation.
Ive taken some good close ups with a camera lens but not as high magnification.
