Some Kind of Nymphs

Post by Ken Ramos »

Image

Ran across these guys while out photographing and searching for some new lichens that I have not already seen. Not a very good image but it was the only one I took of them. :)

How's that old (read ancient) joke go ... 'What's black and white ... and red all over? ' ... :)

Spectacular colouring and a nice find.

Really interesting creatures Ken. Tree & leafhoppers are one of my favorite insects because of their great diversity of shapes and colors

It would have to be a very small tube of lipstick there Nikola. Most of them are around 2 to 3 mm in size. :D
