Mirid bug

Post by Wim van Egmond »

This is a small and thin mirid bug, it could be Notostira elongata.

I used a picture from a magazine as a background and this was not even which makes it a bit more natural.

I would assume that this is a stack. Great DOF and the BG came out very nice Wim.

Yes, I forgot to tell. I am in the stacking mood! :) If anyone has comments on certain aspects, like colour (or color:) adjustment and density and stuff, it would be appreciated. I am wrestling a bit with this.

Well I don't know anything about stacking Wim but the bug sure has one of those long rostrums for inflicting sever pain on its host or looks as though it does. Great image! :D
