Salt of the Earth...

Salt as sodium chloride occurs in nature in areas of evaporation and its mineral name is halite. This is a halite specimen from the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Some of the crystals from here can be quite pink.

I can taste the salt in my mouth just by looking at this picture. I also see pink salt crystals around here also...on my Margarita glass :smt028 Very good shot Steve great DOF :wink:
