Thanks Dread and Regan. Yeah this was a rainy day shot. If you cannot go out doors to photograph nature, then if possible bring nature indoors with you. I was kind of unsure whether or not this was a Red Maple, this one in my front yard, until I looked at some of the buds on the small Maples at where I work, sure enough same buds, just I have a bigger tree. Thanks again guys
I like the composition–the line of the branch leads the eye through the frame. The small leaf in the middle of the frame balances the branch that leads off to the right. The colors of the flowers blend well with the background.
You know I never gave much thought to the composition , well some but I just framed or cropped what looked good to me and took the shot, lucky I suppose. Thanks Antonio & Roy!
I agree, the colors are rich and beautiful, the background cannot be any better and the composition looks very skillful. Again, the colors are fantastic.

Thanks Doug I think it is the REVAL floodlight that gives it such a warm soft appearance as far as the colors go, there are a few things that could be improved but overall I am happy with it. Thanks again...
