A nice looking butterfly (Red spotted Jezabel delias)

Post by Dearis »

Hi there,

my wife and I went for a drive to a national park, then to some gardens, here is a Red Spotted Butterfly Jezabel delias. He was sitting in the middle of the road so I shot it laying on my stomach, DOF is a bit out but still an ok shot.

C and C welcome

Regards Darren

Very nice. :D Road stands as a great background. Good guy, he was waiting you to lay down. 8)

Darren

I detect a white line running along the top of the butterflies wing on my monitor, which looks as if you are oversharpening the image. See:-

The above link shows the same white lines around the roof in their picture.

All the best as usual,

Boy, what a beautiful butterfly and picture Darren. The road color goes very nicely with the BF IMO. I wonder why they are called "Jezabel" wasn`t she someone bad? :D
