A very nice looking weevil there Joan :D but then again an odd looking thing it is. I wonder, what would it be like to have antennae on the end of your nose? :-k Then again, maybe not... :lol:

Thanks Ken. I have wondered about the antennea too? :lol: Maybe it is the modern version of a MP3?? The music gets pluck out of the air without needing the player itself or earphones. :lol:

Last summer I photographed one with exact same colour in Sweden. It did appear with a bit stronger "fur" though, as I could not see the black beneath.
Who knows, might be the same species.

Thanks Erland. It is amazing to find these creature. I always expect all bugs to be either brown or black for some reason. This one is very small too that is why I posted the pic of it on my hand to give an idea of the size. :)
