found this little feller right outside my door today,, it was raining and he was ridding out the storm

Where is everyone getting all these great bug shots from? Gonna be a long time before any bugs show up around here. Great shots there Jim, the last one is a killer, great details.

been doing some landscapes just to bide my time till spring rolls around,, cant wait,, I know youre in the same boat !!

Thanks Joan,, was really looking forward to going out today but the weather didnt cooperate,, luckily he was sitting right outside my door,, I have never seen one here before in my yard

We have just had 6 days of rain. It cleared up a bit yesterday afternoon so I am looking forward to going out later but believe more rain is heading this way.

Thanks Doug,, I believe that this one is actually an adult female,, its funny those short stubby little wings are probably not very usefull for such a large heavy body style,, probably just usefull enough to spring from one batch of leafs to another to avoid preditors
