I have caught dozens of rays and always "debarb" them. One look at this and you can understand how such a thing into the chest cavity could kill someone..

Eeyowch! So that tip you're showing us is like the leading 1" -- definitely a frightening weapon.

Wicked looking barbs :shock: I would assume it is made of hard Cartilage? Just found out, that a group of stingrays is called a "Fever" of Rays :smt023 (like a "Murder of Crows" or a "A Parliament of Owls") :-k
