This image shows what I think are called interference colours, in this case, caused by internal fractures in a crystal of barite from Rochester, Victoria.

Field of view 2.5mm.

Nice! :D It looks like a multiple rainbow. Do you use some special macro lenses or extension tube for this 2.5 mm field width?

Thanks Nicola. Special lens is my Olympus scope :-$

It's really a macro photo even though I took it through my scope.

Very nice shot Steve. We get these fracture rainbows in some of the quartz crystals we sell at the store...the crystal healing people love them. :roll: :D
