Hey I have seen these before, sort of a bothersome kind of fly too at times. Really nice shots there Nikola. Making me long for nicer weather over here. :D

Boy, he is a dark fly. I like the first picture (if ony the stalk was not there near the left wing, it would be perfect perfect)

In case you are interested, it's a Bee Fly, Family: Bombyliidae. In N.A. they come with clear wings and black wings and mottled wings but all essentially have the same "look".

Hi Nicola. I photographed similar flies Hemipenthes morio (in the neighbor :)) . But it's wing has bigger transparent part at the end. Maybe it is just another coloring maybe another species. It is bee fly in English, but in Hungarian it has a different name than the "classical" bee fly (funny fluffy hovering creature).
