Thanks Rik. You are right. I did not go far enough in the process. I had not pressed the save button on the first screen to get to the second screen.

While we are on the subject of EXIF data, do you know if Helicon preserves EXIF data?

I just checked the properties on a number of mineral photos I have stacked using Helicon Focus and it appears that the EXIF data is saved.
