Grasshoppers always look so intricate, nice images Nikola :D . Using turkey and duck feathers I can almost tye a good imitation on a no. 8 long shank hook. Of course a little fine "rabbit dubbing" and "larva lace" to dress up the abdomen doesn't hurt either. Tye off with 12/0 silk. Great for a little warm water bluegill fish'n.

Top down he is very hard to see. Great picture and Desert camouflage. F11 gave you some nice DOF. Are these two different hoppers? :-k

Excellent shots Nikola. This grasshopper certainly blends in well with the background.
