Bugs on a wild flower

This is a tiny flower maybe 1/2 - 3/4 inches across. I think they are some kind of bees?

Look like bees of some kind. If they are what we call "sweat bees," the pack a real whallop for their size. :shock: Nice shots Joan. :D

It look like this is nomia amabilis which is one of the sweat bees you suggested Ken. Thanks for guiding me to the identification.

LOL!! You are right about that Doug. I am quite enjoying this macro / close up photography and am so glad I was introduced into this "small" world.
