hopper and red aphids

hopper and red aphids

just out shooting anything that moved. almost stepped on both of these. the hopper was on bare ground in the dirt and the aphids are on some flower cluster from some grass. very small red aphids, i have one other kind i need to get there real cool looking.

Tiny bugs always give me a fit. They look really good on the preview but when I download them to the computer and take a look at them on the monitor...ARgggh! :lol: Good shots Jordan :D

i hear you ken, you have to put a lot more effort into the high magnification shots. specially if the subject moves. these are just quickies for the aphids, so far i got almost every color of the rainbow in my area somewhere or another. i find aphids places i would never expect.

The little leafhopper has a strange head layout for sure :shock:
