Excellent captures by all- the crab spider isn't doing a very good job of colour matching with the flower though :)

I was just thinking the same Brian. You wonder how the insect got caught if the spider was waiting on top of the flower, I presume it must lurk under the bloom until one lands Nikola, unless the insect sees it as part of the flower, as in your first picture, particularly with the yellow markings looking like pollen?
