Found a bunch of these guys on...yea you guessed it...my milkweed.

You know it is that time of year and I have been hunting for caterpillars too. Nice shot of these fuzzy little critters Sue. They remind me of "chinese handcuffs." :D Anybody remember those? I used to get them sometimes when I bought a "Pig in the Poke" for a nickle. However that was many years ago and you can't buy anything now for a nickle, neither the pig or the poke. :roll:

I have never seen any caterpillers like these before, but I found a link that tells us a little more about them :D . Very nice find Sue. Milkweed Tussock Moth Larvae :shock:

EDIT: it seems that they go by both common names..Tiger & Tussock Moth

I will keep an eye on these guys over the next few days and see if I can get a better image. They sure are interesting.
