Ha fantastic, a pet I take it, or are you really lucky enough to live in an area where the bananas come with guards? The colours match so well, i really wouldnt want to be putting my hand anywhere near that bunch.

Tim,
I took this one several years ago when I was still using film. This tarantula was the pet of an otherwise normal friend.
The early shots lacked something, so I added the (over)ripe banana and that seemed to improve the photo a bit.
