large African Scarab Beetles

Another photo my wife took in Africa. Scarabs on a hibiscus flower. Judging by the normal size of Hibiscus flowers, I would have to say these Scarabs are at least 1.25" (3.3cm) long

I bet those Scarabs sound like aeroplanes when flying :-)

My wife surprises me all the time Carl. I know She took these shots just for me

Erland, she said at first she thought these were small birds flying all around the tree until she got closer to it and saw that they were big beetles
