Mimulus aurantiacus and Salvia microphylla

Post by jmlphoto »

went out for a sunset hike and noticed this purple Salvia microphylla, almost dark out had to use flash i got a few more but i like how this one shows everything and the textures of the flower, they are about 1/4 inch give or take.

also i have this from a clone i took a few weeks ago, somehow while rooting it decided to sprout a flower, so i self pollinated it hopefully get some seeds out of it as well. and of course took a lot of pictures.

next we have this white flower which i forgot the name of with a crab spider on it. took the picture of the flower for i.d and didnt even notice him till i got home and went to resize.

Nice set of images here Jordan :D , spiders and ants have a way of popping up when one least expects them to. That last flower reminds me of what we call a "potatoe vine," but I would not know for sure. :D
