This guy has a very long antennae. It's hard to put them all in the frame. :D Sea and some houses and boats as background on first pic. :)

Great photo, both.

I like the idea of having the background in the first one. Maybe a bit further away from the hopper, and aligning the horizon horisontal, could make the photo even better.

Nice 2nd photo with focus spot on the eye. That hopper makes those further north at my place seem rather uninteresting :lol:

Both shots are excellent Nikola. I also like the background on the first shot. I hope you didn`t forget to photograph the seascape

Thank you Erland especially for your suggestions. I was shooting frequently approaching to the subject. I didn't think much about background. :D However I made some changes and rotations on first photograph as borders of original image permitted. After leveling horizon this is a maximum diagonal I could get. Here is result:

i like your photograph the grasshopper looks great on the flowerbed like that.
