A katydid in the bush (... or find the mite)

This guy has a small mite on his neck.
If you look carefully you can see it even on the first photograph.

All full frame and hand held.

Never seen a "did" like this one, excellent shots there Nikola. Boy you sure did get in close on that third one didn't you.

Really enjoyed this posting Nikola. So....did you notice the mite before you took the shots?

I prefer the closer images, pics 2 and 3.

Bruce I saw it when I came close as on pic #2.
It wasn't easy. There was very bushy.
