Oi Daddy! But don´t you, ...

... step on my blue suede shoes! :smt035 \:D/

Here on the boards I´ve learned that the Opiliones are sometimes called "daddy long-legs" in English, at least in the US. But if I remember correctly I´ve heard Brits speaking of daddy long-legs when they were meaning crane flies (Diptera: Tipulidae), and others are calling spiders with long legs daddy long-legs too. :-k Hmm, I think it´s such an ambiguity as with the "bug" term. But in this case "daddy long-legs" suited me well to choose my title. 8)

Anyway, found this group in a doorway of a very old house when I was having a look at the old center of the city of Wismar, Germany. Dunno what they were up to, but quite an entanglement there, isn´t it?

Hope you enjoy!

Great Betty! :D
You got them all in the focus nicely! :smt023
What a mess. The shadows multiplies an impression about the legs numbers. I would be confused to find my own legs there!
The meaning of beauty is in sharing with others.

P.S.
Noticing of my "a" and "the" and other grammar
errors are welcome. :D

One of those special images that make you first lean forward and really take in the detail and then step back and appreciate the abstract.

I have seen such entanglments my self, though I do not know what they are doing either. However, I will say this, with those legs going every which direction you sure seem to have had good control over the depth of field. Really a nice image, though it reminds me of a very detailed pen and ink drawing. :D
