I see! Now I´m getting more and more familiar with the persimmon.
Thanks, Ken!
You´re making me inquisitive about its taste! I should have a look if I can find some of these persimmons at our fruit market. Recently ,for the first time we had sweet potatoes from there, grown in the USA.
Did this little stalk we see, attach the fruit to the tree or is it a remnant of the former flower?
Cheers,
Betty

Thanks Betty, Joan
A flower remnant I do believe there Betty. It is surprising that the persimmon is not as widely known as I had imagined. As Joan has stated they have not had them long in South Africa either. As for the taste, well I would say you're not missing much but then again many people like them.Did this little stalk we see, attach the fruit to the tree or is it a remnant of the former flower?
Thanks Betty, Joan
