There's a lot of potential here, but are you sure about that white balance setting? They look way blue to me.

They are a bit blue, though I did pull the blue channel somewhat. The white balance was set to "flash" with the flash itself set to ETTL @ -1/3. I also tried AWB with the flash at manual and got the same results. All other settings have way to much red in them for my personal preference. Actually I sort of like the bluish tint because they do look or seem to me to look more natural than with all those warm fuzzy colors. I dunno :-k
