Two atmospheric and complimentary images - compositionally pleasing in both form and colour. The moist and furry texture of the brackets give a read cool (in the traditional sense) woodland feel to both images - I can almost imagine what it was like taking them.

Thanks Joan and Bruce. It was a rather damp day at the time. Rain has just ended for a while and so I took the opportunity to prowl around the woods near where I work and came across these. The past few days of rain have really began to refresh things around here and our temps have become more seasonable.

Rain has finally come to WNC and everything is starting to come back to life, although for some, too little to late. It does seem that here of late I have been spending a lot of time "rooting" around.
