MT24-EX 3rd attempt/practice.....dragon fly...

Hi there,

after yesterdays partial catastrophe with the flash I decided to go out this morning really early in search of some dragonfly's that were cold and stationary so I could experiment with the mt24-ex twin macro flash. The massive over exposure I believe was from not having the flash tightened in the hot shoe therefore it was just firing at full intensity every time instead on E TTL. Here are 2 shots that I thought I would post. They still over exposed but it was correctable with RAW editing and was due to my error this time.

Comments and Criticisms welcome as always good or bad

Two nice photo with a lovely background.
I have very little knowledge about the dragonfly fauna in Australia, so I can't really help with ID, but yes it could look like a Sympetrum (counting the number of cross veins before nodus in the fore wing).

I am unsure I am getting a book of a mate at the weekend for id, might make things a bit easier
