Some more of the temellales found amongst the myxos this past summer for you to enjoy. Despite their small size their bright color makes them stand out well on decaying logs.

Very well done Walter and a very unusual subject. I have not seen any of these before but I would guess you turn over a lot more logs than I do :D

Thanks Doug. I knew someone out there would like these little morsels. I do believe they are edible if your appetite is small.

Fungi and slime molds are some of my favourite subjects and in my experience they can be surprisingly difficult to photograph well. You've done a nice job here, bringing out plenty of subtle surface/internal(?) structures. As always worth taking just that bit longer to really "look" at the finer detail.

As the weather becomes cooler around here I expect to find or see more of these myself. Excellent shots there Walt. :D
