Ken- yep I was born around the Truman time as well, but like Rik , really do not have memories other than my older brother trying to pull me out of my crib by one leg.

Next time I will leave the puzzle up longer. Bud Buddy was more than happy to be part of the fun. He feels like a celebrity right now; pacing around like an eagle and demanding more raspberries as payment.

From my parents tellings I know that after World War II our country was receiving humanitarian aid from America which included some dry eggs in powder form. So people here called it "Truman's eggs" (decently speaking).
