Ancient wings

Post by Erland R.N. »

Here's a photo from early summer in Sweden.
Image
Image
Canon 5D, Sigma 150, uncropped
f/8, 1/160 s, iso 400

I just had to try composing a post of two pictures, as I've seen other do

Hope you like it, although the wings are not completely in focus.

cheers
Erland

Erland,

It is a pretty picture!

The two-images trick works better if you wrap a tag around the newline, like this:

Without the tag, many browsers will leave a blank line between the two images.

I am always fascinated by these insects when ever I come across them, they have to be one of my favorites. A really great job of compositing there Erland. :D

I think it is one of those pictures that seems to be right at the top of the craft IMO. Great background, excellent detail on the insect and justs looks beautiful.

Beautiful composition and good detail too. In my opinion worth every extra pixel of the combined image.

Bruce :D
