This is a super pic Nikola. Your little frog has beautiful colour and texture and I love the way it is scrunched down as small as possible - thinks: "Haha, no one can see me when I squat down like this...." .

Was this the original orientation?

Very nice find, Nikola! Though, I envy him a bit: He is sun bathing whereas up here a cold rain is crackling against my window pane.  :D

The twig of the tree or bush he is crouching on has got interesting lenticells in its bark. Do you happen to know what bush/tree it is?

Cheers,
Betty

Thanks Bruce. :D
The tree branch was originally under about twenty degrees from the horizontal axis. (with head up)

A very nice and warm weather here today and should stay the same for the whole next week.
Some species from Betula genus I think. A kind of birch.

Thanks Doug. :D
Yep, I was. But he was phlegmatic.

Thanks Paul. :D
I bet he could be an actor in beer commercials.

<< I bet he could be an actor in beer commercials. >>

... or for indigestion tablets / products.

(looks like he's just eaten the frog equivalent of 2 extra helpings of curry + ice cream etc ... and regretting it :) )

Very nice shot here, I like the composition, lighting and backround in this shot. I love these little tree frogs, I think they make a great subject. Very nice.
