Wouldn't say guy or gal before Erland.
This one has reddish pterostigma and wing joints of same color as well as reddiish fleck on the first segment nearest the wings.
The eyes are brownish (upper part) and golden green (lower part).
Unfortunately, didn't check ISO settings. All photos were taken with ISO 800.

I never get bored looking at dragonfly pics - they're such a facinating lifeform - even more so watching them in "real life" .
Pic2 shows plenty of detail and has a very "solid" feel to it. I also like the way the legs show through the transparent wings in pic3.
Dragonfly wings are such amazing constructs don't you think. Then I guess probably no more so than many other flying insects, but it's their large size and visibility - and the noise they make when they fly too.

Nice photos. I like the second best, where there is a clear view at the body, without the wings in the way.
Especially in the two last photos I see the vulvar scvale under the 9th abdominal segment, and that is where the eggs are dropped out into the water. So yes it's a female
Also this vulvar scale is important for the ID, and it's the same species as Bruce has found lately, a Sympetrum striolatum, Common darter.
