Thanks Jordan. :D
I think their distribution is limited to Southern Europe and North Africa. :-k

They're incredibly acrobatic creatures in a slow-motion sort of way :D . Like Jordan I'd love to check one of these "in the flesh" so to speak, in fact I'm more than a little bit envious of the amazing diversity of Croatian flora and fauna :D .

Three excellent photos with the subject clearly defined against a clean and complimentary background.

These are such exotic looking mantoids that I did a little searching and came up with a few places here in the states and the UK which sell exotic tropical species (captive bred) to keep and bred as pets. Like Creobroter gemmatus (Thailand Flower Mantis), Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii (#9 Mantis), Gongylus gongylodes (Violin Mantis), Phyllocrania paradoxa (Ghost Mantis). It has my wheels turning in my head.
