I found these guys hanging out behind a palm tree,, never seen one of these before either,, came back to do some research and this is what was reported "Members of this genus can deliver a chemical spray to the eyes that can cause corneal damage " sheesh,,,,,, some of these bugs have some kind of defense mechanisms :shock: :D

Good shot there Jim. Insects do have some amazing defenses. :D

These are sure different Jim. We don`t see to many walking sticks here in the forums. Male & female? How big? Just wear safety glasses :wink:

thanks all,, kinda different, Doug the female was about 4" in length,, there were dozens of these in areas,, kind of havin there own little orgies if you will,, yes. male and female here,, male being the smaller :shock:
