Three Insect Shots, Same flowers

Post by beetleman »

Very popular watering hole for the local insect population. I am still posting images from July. I have no Idea what type of flowers they are, but the bed had several colors of the same plant. A fly, bumblebee and a skipper.

Hey these are fantastic.
I am not an accomplished photogropher so I will not comment on the composition of the shots, but what I will say is 'I enjoy the great photographs you guys produce, so to my mind they are brilliant'.
Thankyou.

Pic1 is a lovely, clean head shot Doug (I like fly pics) and pic3 is altogether an amazing shot from a very unusual angle - don't recall ever seeing a butterfly pic quite like it :smt023

Great shots Doug. I am not to keen on flies but something about yours is quite interesting. Maybe I would have moved the fly a bit more towards center though but it looks fine as it is. The head on of the Skipper now is unusaul, don't see many from that point of view, good work. :smt023
