Cairns Birdwing Butterfly

Post by beetleman »

This is another butterfly that they had at the butterfly garden called Magic Wings http://www.magicwings.com which my family and I went to mid summer. Since my camera is in Africa with my wife (will be back on Monday), I went through my pics and figured I would post this one. The butterfly is a male Cairns Birdwing Ornithoptera priamus. Sorry, my wife does not do macro, so I don`t think she will have any shots for the forum (she might surprise me) :( (the hell with the lions..where is that big bug you just saw!!!) and no wisecracks about this butterfly :smt081
