Nice composition & good choice of DOF with focus placement. This is a fun image.

What can you tell us about technique? Handheld? Monopod? What lenses & lighting?

Interesting juxtaposition against the barb - critically focuses too. Could you provide some info. on ISO, shutter speed and aperture.

This was shot with my D50 and a vintage 55mm micro lens, f8, 1/80 sec., iso 200, hand held. I was actually taking a picture of a flower next to the wire when this fellow showed up. He was much better than the flower..

I shot it at several focus settings to try getting it to stack with combineZM but I just couldn't get it to allign the way I wanted. I may try some more later when I get a little more time to fiddle with it. For now a single shot will have to do. Arlon
