sleepless night

Post by Wim van Egmond »

But I had my revenge!

The only problem with the less magnified stacks is the unnatural legs. They are a 'death give away' :) So it is always better to do just the head. But in this case I also wanted to show the abdomen with bits of me in it..

Now this is an unusual shot. Not very often does one get to see the blood gorged abdomen of an annoying predator such as this. Is West Nile Fever a concern there where you are at  :?: :!:

Always pleased to see a dead mosquito Wim :D . Interesting how the abdomen is designed to expand to accomodate so much blood.

Nice image.

Thanks Jaharris!

Yes, Bruce, that abdomen is pretty weird isn't it? It also has a head with a rather funny hair-do. I'll post an image next week when I'm back from my trip abroad.

Ken, Holland is too cold for these disseases but perhaps because of the rising of the temperature we will get the troublesome mosquitos here as well.

best regards,

Wim
