Or at least that what I think it is,,,, I got 1 shot on this lil fella before he flew away,,, wish he would have stuck around a little longer :D

great composition on this one. the green background works well with the orange little guy. he sure does have some long legs eh?

thanks jm,,, he does have some long legs huh,, :D also,, you can see signs on his prepubescent mustache coming in :D

Love the color on your robberfly. A baby robberfly would be a maggot. You have a smaller species here.

To date there are about 6,750 robber fly species in the world, about 1000 species of robber flies reside here in the United States, probably illegally but they are here just the same. :lol: There are also more than 100 species that occur in Florida too. This is a very nice photograph Jim and probably could be a bit better had you had a bit more DOF, especially on the abdomen. Still you did good! :smt023
