Not intentionally following Nikolas lead...it just turned out that away. This fellow blends in pretty well I think. :D

Yes, he does blend in. Usually, unless they move, it is hard to find these guys.

You don't really notice them. :) I took this in the field behind the plant where I work. You can walk through there and grasshoppers jump up from everywhere but they are hard to see. Thanks Sue. :D

Hoppers jump - really nice of them! :D
Very nice capture Ken!
Seems G7 is a great little camera. And with image stabilisation - wow.

Thanks Nikola :D The Canon Powershot G7 really is a great little camera to have around where a larger DSLR is not really practical at times and it takes really good photographs, just as good or as close to the same quality of my Canon 20 and 30D cameras. 8)

You know Ken... I was keeping my eyes on that camera (G7) and now my eyes are on PowerShot S5 IS because of 12× zoom as replacement for my old Olympus 770 UZ 10× zoom 4MP as "multi purpose walk around" camera. :D
By the way Canon EOS 40D is on the horizon.

The S5 IS is a nice camera, though it does not have a "hot shoe" for an external flash, I think, but I am sold on the G7. It would be nice if Canon put a larger, faster lens on this thing and made it into a full size rangerfinder type camera, with a larger CCD or CMOS sensor. Maybe something akin to the Leica M8 but without the Leica M8 price. 8)

Well it is about time. That is why I have shied away from a lot of other small P & S cameras, because they did not have external flash capability. Great! :D

A great hopper Ken. Remember, my camera is the Powershot S1 IS 10x zoom and I get some great pictures out of it with the closeup lens (I think there great  )

That S1 of your does take some really great photographs there Doug. I looked at one of those here a while back but I wanted something small with external flash capability too. Anyway looks as though Nikola has found one. Seems everytime you turn around by the time you get something home, they have improved on it in one way or another. :)
