Wow even knowing it was there it still took me a few seconds to pin it down! This insect does not want to be seen does it. Absolutely amazing adaptation and full marks for spotting it Nikola.

Thanks Dave. :D
I was on vacation. It is a period in which I spend a minimum time on internet and watching television and maximum time photographing macros. 8)
Thanks Bruce. :D
Yep, great adaptation, not only in color but the body parts also imitates dry grass, leaves, trunks and thorns.
Even after I saw him I wasn't sure which parts of "dry grass" were actually his legs.

I too had to take a moment to find it there Nikola, this is an excellent photograph of how nature hides her own. One thing about shooting macro, it really makes you look and look hard for your subjects. Great work. :D

I love the way the antennae are flattened. he sure would stick out on something green and round. I wonder what he eats in the dry brush?

Wow -- great bug, great pics!

I do not recognize this beast. Do you have an ID for it?

Incredible camo suite, isn't it?
Thanks Doug. :D
Maybe some little bugs? 8)
Thanks Rik. :D
I have no idea about ID. It's new for me too. Kind of Katydid perhaps?
Thanks Mike. :D
I found him because he was moving. Even after that it took me almost a whole minute watching at the same area before I saw him.
Thanks jmlphoto. :D
