Hi to all!
I'm back and see good news and new site. :D
Here is my new post, praying mantis posing on the dry grass stalk at sunset time. 8)
Not so bad for little camera and build-in flash. :lol:
You can see the Tijat island at the background.

Kind of been wondering where you'v been there Nikola :smt028 This is another great mantis shot you have here, a little hot in spots but they seem to highlight your subject against that marvelous background, very nice work and thanks! :D

Kind of figured that is what it was Nikola, done the same thing many times myself. :lol: You know you could possibly make a very simple flash diffuser by placing a piece of frosted scotch tape across the flash lens and trying different EV's on different highly reflective subjects until you come across the best setting, however using a diffuser will cut down on your flash distance but then again your shooting macro. :D

I was using flash rarely so I didn't think much about that. Thanks a lot for suggestion Ken! :D Night fun could be very intersting. :wink:

Thank you Doug. Yes I have, I found them mostly accidentally. You may expect more "08/2006" mantis pics. :D
