Hi Sue,
The flower is Common Poppy Papaver rhoeas bees love all types of poppy as these allow the bees to collect pollen, if you look carefully you might be able to see pollen being stored on her hind legs.

Sue I just had another look at the photo and you can't see her legs, what a 'wally' or as the Scots would say 'spot the loone'.
