Wasp & Robberfly Having Lunch Together

Ken declared Wasp week. A wasp in a different Situation. I saw this robber fly coming in for a rather hard landing. Seems it had a large happy meal to contend with….turned out to be a hornet. I like the fact that he was hanging on with only one foot . I would be holding the wasp with five feet also

. The wire is a piece of electric fence wire. This fly was rather large and colorful for a Robberfly. He also has a cool looking oriental symbol on his forehead

Some really nice shots there Doug. The first is sort of comical with the fly hanging by one leg and holding its meal with the rest.

This is different. I never seen them "hang around" like that.

Very nice shots. Could you provide some info on how the capture was made? Lens, ISO, f/stop, shutter speed, flash or no flash. Thanks.
