Well I May As Well Post a Wasp Too...

Ain't munching down on some "jar fly" this wasp and I don't know what that is its got but it is chewing on something and it tried not to let me get a photograph of it. Though unlike Sue's wasp, "the cicada killer," it did not try and chase me away. This should maybe, offically begin Wasp week.

On top of that, I found this not too long ago...

A lacewing larvae, I think. Crawling around on some Trumpet Vine blooms. So that concludes my three for today in Macro. If'n I had something to post in Micro, I would go over there and show-off in front of them but then again, show'n-off usually gets you a whoop'n in front of company or at least it did when I was a kid.

Very nice Ken....and you can still get a whopping for showing off. My pappy said you were never too big.

A couple of very interesting photos Ken. I think some wasps capture bugs and chew the crud out of them to turn them into a meatball before they fly off to the nest. makes it easier to fly with.

Evidently that is what this one was doing there Doug and it was wanting to be very private about it. I guess it is like some folks who do not like for others to watch them eat. People don't get a chance to watch me eat, the food disappears to fast.
